Brother MFC-J1205W Driver Download - The Brother MFC-J1205W is an inexpensive all-in-one inkjet printer. Like other Brother INKvestment Tank printers, it uses ink cartridges together with internal ink tanks, producing better results than printers with traditional ink cartridges. It only has a flatbed scanner with no auto-feed or fax functionality. Connects via Wi-Fi or USB, supports Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Service, and is compatible with Brother's Mobile Connect app. There is no display, only LED lights indicating printer status and physical buttons.

The Brother MFC-J1205W is great for family use. It produces high-quality black and color documents, and thanks to its high page yield, doesn't cost much to maintain. For photos, it prints highly detailed images with fairly accurate colors; however, it is unable to produce bright, saturated tones. It connects via Wi-Fi or USB and supports Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Services, making it easy for every member of the household to access. It only has a flatbed scanner, so scanning multi-page documents can be very time consuming, and while the scan quality is good, some of the finer details don't show up, which isn't ideal for digitizing photos and graphics.

According to marketing and support documents, the only software you get with the MFC-J1205W is Brother's cross-platform combined drivers (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android), and the interface utility, iPrint & Scan. It started a few years ago as a competent AIO interface and has grown into a very useful scan tool, but it can't do everything. It's not powerful enough to function as a standalone interface with multiple users printing, copying, sending documents to the cloud, and more.

The procedure for downloading and installing the printer driver  

1. For Windows OS:

1. Click the download link as shown below then select [Save]
2. Select "Save As", then save to download the selected driver file or by selecting [Run] / [Open]) the file will be automatically installed after the driver is saved. The downloaded file is stored in the place that you specified in the .exe format.
3. Finally, double-click on the .exe file to decompress so that the installation will start automatically.
