The manufacturer has been working on pigmented black ink. If we compare the results of the Pixma G4500 with those on the G6050, we see a much better black coverage with a very light satellite point. The latter can only be recognized with a magnifying glass, not during normal readings.

Light color prints, if a little darker than the first generation. The contrast is correct and gives a good depth especially on prints on photo paper. Photos can be printed without borders - not all tank printers on the market can do it. Enhanced black ink also benefits copy quality.
